Overview
GenFlex Roofing Systems, a division of Bridgestone Firestone Diversified Products, launched its new web site, a key part of the company's re-branding effort: www.genflex.com. GenFlex engaged integrated marketing and communications firm Hart Associates of Toledo Ohio to create the new corporate identity and deliver it in everything from trade show graphics to the web site.
Taxonomy Driven Content
The CMS400.net taxonomy technology was employed to allow GenFlex personnel to place assets like news articles, training videos and technical documents one time and call them to many parts of the site. This allows for easier management of the many resources GenFlex has for its Dealer and Contractor customers.
Distributor/Contractor Locator
ServerSide implemented the powerful index search capabilities of CMS400.net to provide a locator tool for the visitors to easily find distributors or contractors in their area. The list of results is presented and map links are provided.
Locator Maps
Interactive maps for sales territories, technical support and technical rep contacts are provided. The content is easily edited by GenFlex personnel from with in the CMS.net 400 work area.
Shared Content
Installation Videos, Request Samples and Literature, Technical Info and Warranty Samples are all content types where a single content block needs to display in different areas of the site and still have the proper header and label information. ServerSide, Inc. provided a way for this to be accomplished and easily managed in the CMS400.net work area. This simplifies the administration of the site as you only need to make a change in one place to any of these blocks of content and the system automatically brings in the proper header and context information.
