SmarterStats is a web analytics software product that reads web server log files and produces web site usage reports. SmarterStats achieves a high level of accuracy and captures a wealth of visitor parameters and displays them in a clean, easy to use web based interface. ServerSide provides SmarterStats services to all managed hosting customers free of charge.
Remote Server Administration
For customers that would like to have console level access to manage their own server applications, etc., ServerSide provides remote administration via Radmin. Radmin is an award-winning remote control software program that enables you to work on remote computers from your own. It is a complete, secure remote control solution with all key features such as File Transfer, NT security, Telnet and Multilanguage support included.
System Monitoring
Providing proactive system support and troubleshooting is a priority for us and our clients. Utilizing an enterprise-class distributed monitoring solution, we are able to monitor server health and activity in real-time. Around the clock, our support team is notified via email and SMS alerts anytime one of our systems is operating outside of pre-defined parameters, allowing us to respond to system problems, often before the client is aware that one exists.
Daily Web Server and Database Backup Services
ServerSide understands the importance of our customer's data. Our Backup Services are a comprehensive data preservation and storage solution. ServerSide offers a number of backup services to protect valuable data on your servers. Our services range from simple tape swaps on your equipment to comprehensive backups on our high performance storage systems.
Managed Enterprise Firewall Protection
Our managed enterprise firewall protection service includes placing your server behind our enterprise grade firewall systems and responding to all security events. ServerSide will monitor all managed firewalls and provide up to two configuration changes, event responses, or patch installations per month, totaling less than one hour of labor after the initial firewall configuration.
Managed Security Services
ServerSide continuously monitors and responds to security issues as they arise for the operating systems and applications that we support. When security patches or updates are released they are tested and then installed to protect your server(s). If your server is not kept up to date with patches and updates, there is a good chance that your server will be compromised. With managed security services, ServerSide will automatically install the security patches and updates for you.
