The Goal
The purpose of the ASDS is to promote the highest standards of patient care and promote the public interest relating to DermaSurgery. ServerSide, Inc. was engaged to bring the web presence up to date and provide a better platform to communicate with members.

Personalized Portal Page
Personal Portal pages are provided so that members can create a customized view of web page   when they visit the site. It can include their events, RSS feeds, people or general content that would apply to them. Users can drag-and-drop these control frames into template-style "drop zones" to personalize their website experience. The implementation of the community features of CMS400 is currently being planned.

e-commerce
ServerSide, Inc. built a fully automated payment processing system for the ASDS site. This system handles fees for events during the registration process as well as member dues and products for sale through the on-site store.

Structured Content
ServerSide, Inc. uses CMS400 Smart Form technology to build structured content areas where web content items are entered once and can be displayed in any number of places and contexts on the site. Structured content areas include the News section and the Calendar of Events.
