The Objectives
The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests, and welfare of students pursuing careers in dentistry. ServerSide, Inc. worked with .orgSource and Davis Design Partners to give ASDA's new web site an updated professional look and very high level of functionality benefits to the members.

Personalized Portal Page
Personal Portal pages are provided so that ASDA members can create a customized view of web page when they visit the site. It can include their events, people or general content that would apply to them. Users can drag-and-drop these control frames into template-style "drop zones" to personalize their website experience. ASDA is currently in the planning stage of implementation of the new community features of CMS400.

e-commerce 
ServerSide, Inc. built a fully automated payment processing system for the ASDA site. This system handles fees for events during the registration process as well as member dues and products for sale through the on-site store.

Structured Content 
ServerSide, Inc. uses CMS400 Smart Form technology to build structured content areas where web content items are entered once and can be displayed in any number of places and contexts on the site. Structured content areas include the News section and the Calendar of Events.

Systems Integration
ServerSide, Inc. provided the necessary expertise and programming to provide a unified login web site login to ASDA’s in-house Membership system, IMPAK.
